1. Market Highlights
Mainstream prices for Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min decreased slightly by RMB600/kg (USD93.69/kg) to RMB10,000-10,400/kg (USD1,561-1,624/kg) in late May. Despite that most producers were unwilling to decrease quotations further, prices for the material would not stand firm for a lack of support as consumers preferred to make purchases in small volumes. Thus it is predicted that prices for germanium metal would still have room to decrease in June.
