In May, in domestic market, the dominating prices for Chinese zircon sands and fused zirconias stood stable. Prices of Chinese zirconium silicate kept increasing while zirconium chemicals and zirconium sponge prices continued to move down. The market saw slow demand and slack transactions on the whole.
In May, in the overseas market, Australian, South African zircon sands' import prices stood flat with slow supply. Tronox would increase zircon sand prices by USD175/t in H2 2018, while Iluka and RBM would keep zircon sand prices stable in Q3 2018. Indonesian zircon sand market witnessed limited supply and price uptrend.
