1. Market Highlights
The Chinese Rare Earth Market witnessed soft demand from downstream industries and sliding prices through the whole month of April. Chinese PrNd, dysprosium, terbium, gadolinium, holimium, yttrium and europium products' prices showed downtrend this month, while lanthanum and cerium products prices leveled off. The consumers continued to delay purchasing in spite of few stocks in late April. In addition, the China's government increased rare earth ore mining quotas in H1, 2018, while caused panic attitudes among suppliers late this month.
