1. Market Highlights
Mainstream prices for Chinese indium ingot 99.99%min decreased on the whole in April, which was mainly caused by weaker demand for speculation. After the Spring Festival holiday, prices for indium ingot increased largely in February and March, during which traders and speculators made purchases and sent enquiries actively, but end consumers kept watching the market from the sideline, thus there were no large volume of purchases. It is predicted that prices for indium ingot would fluctuate in May with large possibilities to decrease affected by speculation.
