1. Market Highlights
Mainstream prices for Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min were firm at RMB10,600-11,000/kg (USD1,665-1,728/kg) in April. Consumers mainly consumed stocks before the May Day holiday with a watchful attitude to avoid making purchases at high prices, leaving rare transactions in the spot market. While producers held firm on prices due to limited output and no stock pressure, and thus there was no fluctuation in prices during the month.
