Prices of stainless steel flat products and stainless steel pipe decreased further during this month on weak customer demand and decrease in steel mills' list prices, while those of stainless steel bar rebounded slightly supported by higher raw material costs. Customers without urgent need for materials were just holding a wait-and-see attitude and placing orders sparingly. Having no confidence in the market outlook, traders were still reluctant to build large stockpiles. Insiders suppose the market will continue to be quiet in the coming month.
