1. Market Highlights
In March, affected by national industry policies, tight supply of vanadium products' upstream raw material vanadium pentoxide became more serious and prices for vanadium pentoxide flake kept stable uptrend, leading to uptrend of prices for downstream vanadium products. With downstream steel mills opening biddings gradually, transaction prices and volume for Chinese ferrovanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloy both moved up and suppliers gave higher offers continuously to probe the market, so steel mills' expectation prices were exceeded again and again. At the same time, affected by sharp increase of prices for vanadium products in international market, export prices for Chinese ferrovanadium and vanadium pentoxide flake rose up rapidly which was far higher than domestic sale prices, promoting more vanadium enterprises to participate in export business.
