In February, mainstream prices for Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min kept the upward trend of January and increased slightly by RMB200/kg (USD31.63/kg). The market ran slowly in mid-February during the Spring Festival holiday with the logistics suspension. After the holiday, mainstream prices for germanium metal remained firm with tight spot supply.
