In October, in domestic market, most of zirconium products’ prices moved up in different degrees as a reaction to tight supply or raw materials’ rising prices on the background of environmental pressure in China. Among them, prices of Chinese zirconium chemicals and zirconium sponge roared supported by strong demand, while prices of zircon sand, zirconium silicate and fused zirconia increasing speed got slow on somewhat slack demand.
As for overseas market, Australian, South African and Indonesian zircon sands’ import prices all appreciated from the beginning of October with reduced supply on the whole.
