During October, most Chinese suppliers of bismuth ingot 99.99%min held back from selling, which thus underpinned the slight increases in bismuth ingot prices. But as both supply and demand hovered at a low level, the spot market witnessed inactive transactions. During the third quarter, China’s bismuth ingot exports kept increasing but transactions were concluded largely in the form of long-term orders, not indicating that spot transactions were active. In sum, the October bismuth ingot market ran steadily on the whole.
