The Chinese magnesium ingot market prices moved up greatly in August. Due to the increasing prices for ferrosilicon and coal, the magnesium ingot plants raised their offers accordingly. Downstream users and traders were worried about the future supply and made some purchase in advance which supported the prices to increase further. However, as raw materials’ prices decreased, the magnesium ingot market prices decreased at the end of this month.
