In June, although environmental protection inspection teams left, most smelters were still conducting rectifications and few producers resumed production, causing limited transactions in the spot market. But prices moved down slowly as the slack season was approaching and consumers showed little interest in purchases. In particular, prices for tungsten concentrate and APT dropped by about RMB3,000/t (USD442/t) from those of last month, while those for tungsten powder decreased by about RMB5/kg (USD0.74/kg).
