In June, the Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min market continued the steady tendency of May, and mainstream prices were stable at RMB7,300-7,700/kg (USD1,077-1,136/kg) with very few fluctuations. Although some traders claimed the overall limited enquiries in June, consumers mainly purchased from hand to mouth and it was difficult for prices to move up given no increasing demand. However, as the monthly output of Chinese producers tended to decline in Q2, spot supply continued to drop with firm prices.
