The rare earth market witnessed continuously rising price in April due both to further increasing offers of China rare earth groups and tight supply in spot market. However, some PrNd mischmetal producers ceased part of their capacity limited by slow buying activity and price inversions. The PrNd, terbium, gadolinium, europium and lutetium prices showed uptrend, while dysprosium, yttrium, lanthanum and cerium prices kept flat due to sufficient supply. Insiders still held stocks from selling and preferred to watch market in May.
