In April, Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min suppliers continued to keep prices firm and offers of some small plants decreased by RMB100-200/kg (USD14.49-28.98/kg) while offers of large plants were still firm. Germanium metal prices had increased and consumers purchased according to demand, attracting attention of traders and purchasers. Enquiries were active in April and producers preferred to sell to end users, so traders claimed that profit was low.
