Prices of both non-grain oriented electrical steel and grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China went down further during this month on lower raw material costs and weak customer demand. However, the market sales performance continued to be bad under customers’ wait-and-see attitude. Traders were not confident of the market outlook and refused to build large stockpiles to avoid risks. Insiders suppose the market will keep quiet in the coming month.
