In February, both Chinese antimony ingot and antimony trioxide prices went up sharply. With a positive attitude towards the market outlook, suppliers held back from selling and raised their offers one after another as they thought antimony ingot output would decrease affected by environmental pressure. Traders and producers stocked up actively after the Spring Festival, pushing antimony ingot prices higher once again. Influenced by the increasing antimony prices in the domestic market, overseas prices also soared.
