Due to weak demand from overseas and domestic purchasers and the delivery crisis of Fanya Metal Exchange, prices for Chinese bismuth ingot decreased substantially in 2015; prices for the material lingered at low levels in 2016 and created a new low in July. The demand for bismuth ingot was generally soft in 2016 although prices for the material went up slightly affected by the flow of the private capitals.
