In January, Chinese magnesium ingot prices continued to fluctuate. In the beginning to middle of January, the prevailing magnesium ingot prices moved down sharply and even touched the bottom line. Later, buyers from the domestic and overseas markets began to place orders actively and suppliers’ selling pressure was relieved during this period, and the prices rebounded soon. Entering the fourth week of this month, the logistic suspended and insiders left the market for the coming Spring Festival holiday, and the prices leveled off with very few deals finalized during this period.
