Bismuth ingot prices have decreased since mid-to-late December; in January, due to the approaching of the Spring Festival, some producers lowered prices to promote transactions and recoup the capital before the Spring Festival; however, the market saw inactive deals as downstream demand remained weak. Prices for Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min were RMB63,000-65,000/t (USD4.16-4.29/lb) ex works VAT included, down by RMB7,000/t (USD0.46/lb) from early January.
