Chinese HR strip prices went up further during the month mainly supported by increase in steel mills’ list prices. However, customers could not accept the continuous price increase and still took a cautious attitude towards the market outlook. Traders were reluctant to build large stockpiles to avoid risks. Insiders do not expect the price to rise further in the coming month.
