Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel prices in major markets of China saw an upward trend during this month mainly supported by higher raw material costs and increase in steel mills’ list prices, while those of grain oriented electrical steel went down on weak customer demand. All steel mills raised their list prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel for October production. Insiders suppose that electrical steel prices will continue to demonstrate differing trends in the coming month.
