Prices for steel pipe failed to go up significantly during the month, despite doing so in August, and instead either remained largely stable or declined because of falling raw material prices, as well as the sluggish market. In the meantime, the frequent price fluctuations heightened end users’ cautious attitude and they simply purchased according to urgent needs. Lacking any confidence in the market outlook, traders refused to build large stockpiles. Insiders don't think the steel pipe price will rise in October.
