Prices for section steel demonstrated a downward trend in most Chinese domestic markets during the month. Even though September is the traditional peak season, the market performance showed no signs of improving and was even worse than in August with the frequent price fluctuations heightening end users’ cautious attitude. Meanwhile, traders showed no confidence in the market outlook, given the continuous and sharp decline in raw material prices. Insiders don’t expect the section steel price to go up in October.
