In July, Chinese ferrosilicon market saw increasing prices. Large plants in Inner Mongolia had decreasing stocks by the end of June. Meanwhile, producers’ operating rate was still at around 40%. Therefore, Chinese ferrosilicon producers raise d the prices due to the tight supply. By the end of the month, prices for ferrosilicon 72%min jumped by RMB300/t, and ferrosilicon 75%min prices moved up by RMB150/t from those of late June.
