In July, Chinese vanadium markets saw increasing prices. As Chinese vanadium pentoxide producers kept raising prices due to thin profits and they were unwilling to sell the goods, it was difficult for ferrovanadium and vanadium nitride producers to purchase the raw materials. Therefore, the downstream products prices also showed upward tendencies. By the end of July, ferrovanadium 50%min had increased by 12.2%, and those for vanadium nitride had jumped by 9.1%. As for the vanadium pentoxide flake 98% market, the prices increased by RMB4,000/t compared with those of early month.
