Section steel prices showed an upward trend in most Chinese cities during this month due to higher raw material prices. However, demand from construction industry remained weak during the off season. The rainy weather in August will impose a negative influence on traders’ sales performance in South China. Therefore, insiders don’t expect Chinese section steel prices to rise further next month.
