Affected by the second batch of rare earth commercial storage news, Chinese PrNd, dysprosium, terbium products' prices increased rapidly in early May, with increases of about 5%, 10% and 35% compared with those in late April
. Even yttrium oxide 99 . 999%min, europium oxide 99 . 99%min and lanthanum prices rose a bit early this month . However, as downstream consumers failed to raise their prices accordingly, so they did not accept high price levels and delayed purchases, which resulted in slightly sliding prices in the latter half of May . Affecting by the rising price trend in domestic market, both European and North American market witnessed moving uptrend prices of rare earth products . While the market remained limited as downstream consumers held watchful attitudes and still purchased from long-term suppliers . As most people were watching the rare earth national storage policy, the rare earth domestic and overseas markets were predicted to keep in stalemates in the first ten days of June, and the price would continue to slide a bit in the rest time of the month due to weakening demand from downstream industries.
