Section steel prices decreased sharply during May due to the sharp price fall witnessed by raw materials. Moreover, the demand has been quite weak during this month and most traders were unsatisfied with their sales performance. The rainy season will begin in June in South China and downstream demand is likely to become weaker. Therefore, insiders believe that Chinese section steel prices will fall further next month.
