In April, a part of antimony producers halted production temporally impacted by strict environment protection request and fund. Thus, the spot supply was tight and the buyers’ bargaining power weakened. The prices of antimony concentarte, antimony ingot and antimony trioxide rose with a large markup in domestic and overseas markets. The antimony ptoducers were optimistic about the future market, and held back from selling and waited for higher prices and profit. The traders accepted orders cautiously and downstream end-users purchased according to production. Some producers who have halted production before planed to resume production.
