Major cobalt metal producers lifted offers in succession in early March as the stockpiling of China’s State Reserve Bureau (SRB) was confirmed. However, the price lacked momentum of rising further in view of weak demand against sufficient supply. Prompted by higher cobalt metal price, producers of cobalt salts and cobalt powder attempted to sell higher but prices of cobalt chloride and cobalt powder retreated in late March dragged by sluggish demand.
