Steel plate prices soared in most domestic markets during the month, boosted by the sharp increase in the price of raw materials, as well as improved market performance. As traders refused to build large inventories, the overall market stockpile was running low, driving prices to keep rising. Considering that downstream demand is likely to become stronger in April, insiders foresee another increase in the price of HRC in the coming month.
