Lithium market remained strong in February with prices continuing surging higher despite most Chinese were absent during the Chinese New Year holidays. Major producers of lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and lithium metal continued to report tight supply of materials and some claimed that they would not have spot material to supply until end of March. Prices of both industrial and battery grade lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide witnessed an markup of more than 10% within the month.
