During February, the Chinese indium ingot 99.99%min market was all but closed in the first half of the month with most participants preparing to leave the spot market for the Chinese New Year holiday. After the holiday, end users were slow to return to the market and suppliers attempted to raise quotations on the first working day but the higher end quotations were defeated by the sluggish demand. In the export market, quotations saw a degree of inversion which led to limited transactions.
