Impacted by the approaching of the Spring Festival, most producers and consumers of antimony ingot in China halted production and stayed away from the market in the first half of February. As a result, the market became stagnated with almost no activity. In the latter half month, along with the returning of participants, some producers tried to raise their offers, but concluded few deals because of the rare inquiries from end users, who were quite indifferent to make purchases. In order to gain more orders, suppliers started to lower their quotations, which finally pushed down the mainstream prices.
