Section steel prices showed an upward trend in most domestic cities during the month, supported by the increase in raw material prices. However, demand for section steel was quite weak due to the long holiday for Spring Festival. March was traditionally considered as the high season for section steel industry since there will be more construction projects with the weather getting warmer gradually. Therefore, insiders believe that Chinese section steel prices will continue to increase to some extent during the next month.
