In September, the antimony market remained depressed, impacted by a slowdown in demand from downstream industries. The prices of antimony concentrate, antimony ingots and antimony trioxide continued to slide with a sharp markdown in the Chinese and overseas markets. It became apparent that most smelters were operating at reduced rates due to the low concluded prices this month.
