In September, the Chinese cadmium ingot market was still performing weakly and the operation rate kept at a low level. Demand from the Chinese and overseas markets remains slow, so as a reaction, the price has been decreasing. The spot market was quiet this month. Downstream users entered the market and simply made purchases from hand to mouth. Most participants were pessimistic about the future market developments.
