Non-grain oriented electrical steel prices maintained a downward trend during the month, in the absence of strong downstream demand. Although grain oriented electrical steel prices didn’t go down accordingly, demand remained quite weak. With the motor manufacturing and transformer manufacturing industries showing no signs of improving, insiders believe that electrical steel prices will continue the downward trend in October.
