Non-grain oriented electrical steel prices continued to go down during the month, lacking strong support from downstream demand. Although grain oriented electrical steel prices were generally stable, the sales performance for most GO traders was unsatisfactory. Considering the sluggishness of downstream industries, insiders believe that electrical steel prices will maintain a downward trend in September.
