The downstream demand for bismuth metal showed no obvious increase in 2014, but the activity of stockpiling from traders and exchanges kept pushing to bismuth prices to go up from Q1 to Q3. However, in Q4, the exchanges faced some financial pressure and stopper purchasing bismuth and the prices for the material lost the support and dropped constantly to the end of the year.
