The Chinese molybdenum market remained flat during June. Prices continued to slide even though Chinese government tried very hard to spur the market through various investment projects, hoping to boost demand. The raw material market was relatively stable with few transactions to be seen. The price of ferromolybdenum was of the fastest declines. With summer approaching, most participants expect the Chinese molybdenum market is unlikely to improve in the near future and prices will face huge downward pressure.
