Electrical steel prices witnessed a downward trend during the month, due to lower raw material prices and weak downstream demand. Several leading Chinese electrical steel producers’ ex-works prices for July production decreased to some extent and most domestic traders were pessimistic about the market outlook. Therefore, insiders believe that electrical steel prices will continue to go down in July.
