Section steel prices decreased to some extent in major Chinese cities this month, affected by the weak downstream demand and lower raw material prices. July is traditionally considered to be the off-season for the section steel industry due to the high temperatures and rainy weather. Most domestic traders are not confident about the market outlook. Therefore, insiders believe section steel prices will decrease further in July.
