Because of the continuously falling demand in Chinese and overseas market, the spot market remained dull with limited inquiries and transactions. The mainstream prices of bismuth ingot 99.99%min in China dropped about RMB3,000/t (USD0.22/lb) to RMB90,000-92,000/t (USD6.58-6.73/lb). Though major suppliers wanted to hold the price firm, they finally gave way to the fierce competition among suppliers and lowered the prices again.
