Iron market did not see much improvement with the price dropping further in the month. Though some iron producers remained out of production, iron inventory kept increasing in the spot market as downstream market demand stayed slow. Iron producers with large output were facing increasing sales pressure and fierce competition. Meanwhile, prices of iron ore and coke also dropped, reducing iron cost. As a result, iron prices continued moving downward in March.
