The rare earth price climbed up firstly and then dropped
. In the first half of March, suppliers were in no hurry to reduce stocks as most separation plants haven’t begun to output products . The prices for PrNd, dysprosium, terbium and gadolinium soared up . But consumers delayed making purchases and intended to watch the market for a while . The rare earth market witnessed limited buying activities . In the second half of March, the supply for PrNd, dysprosium, terbium and gadolinium increased because the majority of separation plants began to output products, which results in sliding prices in rare earth market . Consumers still postponed purchases . Participants lacked confidence rare earth market in April and predicted rare earth prices will continue to decline in April due to softening demand.
