The construction steel market in China showed some signs of improvement coupled with price increase for wire rod and rebar in the latter half month in most regions. However, due to the unreleased demand from downstream consumers, prices of wire rod and rebar went back to the downward trend in the end of this month, making participants cautious about the coming market again. Insiders predict that prices of construction steels will come down again in April but the mark-down will be limited.
