Over the course of this month, prices for HRC in China’s major cities decreased in the first half and then turned to increase supported by the upward price trend in raw materials and long steel markets. However, prices in HRC futures market did not increase that much, offering little support to the spot market. Export market run slowly with most oversea buyers watching the market. Therefore, insiders expect to see a price decrease in HRC market in the coming month.
