The indium ingot 99.99%min market in China revived a little compared with that of January, but the overall demand or the downstream market remained sluggish with limited purchasing activities on the spot market. At the beginning of February, prices for indium ingots in China rebounded a little because of the activities in exchanges; however it kept stable after the Spring Festival. Meanwhile end users were quite satisfied with the current price level, and they kept purchasing from hand to mouth.
In addition, the Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min market kept quiet with few purchasing activities on the spot market. Apart from the long-term contracts, the market witnessed very few inquires with prices dropping. Some suppliers lowered the quotations to stimulate sales but received few deals.
